Marg (Owner)
Mom to two beautiful daughters and three spunky pups. Loves the outdoors as much as she loves dogs ! When not working with your pups, Marg is enjoying her time away camping with family and friends. Marg also enjoys playing softball and watching her daughter Emma play softball. Marg is excited to be the leader of the DogZen team and to be contributing to your dogs quality of life and happiness
Emma
Emma is our part-time walker and live-in sitter. When you’re away, she’s happy to stay in your home, providing loving care for your pets while keeping your home safe and well looked after. Emma is a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and plans to pursue a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She has a passion for softball, and when she’s not caring for your pups, you’ll often find her on the ball field coaching young athletes or playing herself.
Carmen
Our amazing part time weekend walker and part time boarding mom Carmen is mom to Somia and loving wife to Ian

Selina
Meet Selina! She lives in Central Vancouver with her cat Prairie and spends most of her days looking for ways to be active or get outside- swimming, hiking, biking, hitting the gym, etc., even after a day of hiking with the dogs! She hikes dogs by day (Since April 2024) and moonlights as a floral designer on weekends for big events & weddings! Selina’s childhood dog was a Husky/Lab mix named Angel, but her favourite breed of dog is a Vizsla!
Lauren
Meet Lauren! Originally from Vancouver Island she made the choice to move to the big city just over 2 years ago. Lauren loves the outdoors and any opportunity she gets to be creative. She has a cat named Spyro and hopes to have a dog of her own someday soon. When shes not hiking the trails you can find her at the gym, reading at the beach, or out taking photos and exploring.
Grace
In order to find Grace in her happy place, you’ll have to look to the trails with your pups, where they are getting all the love and affection they could possibly dream of. As the sun goes down and Grace goes home, she cosies up on the couch with her cat and works on one of her many novels that one day, she’ll hopefully publish.
Taylor
Meet Taylor! She loves working with dogs of all ages, especially working with puppies as they grow and develop. In her downtime she likes to bake and cuddle with her two dogs, a yellow and a black Lab. Taylor brings genuine care and enthusiasm to the daycare. Her favourite breed are German Shorthaired Pointers
Evan
High energy pack hikes where through love & training the “love pack” learns to run off leash as a group through the wood’s & streams. Fun positive social encounters with other dogs, bikes & runners are all used as an opportunity to set behavioral expectations…
Katie
Hi, I’m Katie!
Born and raised in South Africa, I’ve always loved the outdoors and animals. I volunteered at the SPCA in Johannesburg, helping rescue and care for animals, and spent several years pet sitting in both urban and rural settings.
In 2021, my family and I moved to North Vancouver with our two rescue cats, Cali and Jasper. We’ve since welcomed Boomer, our Coonhound-Ridgeback rescue. I joined the Dogzen team in 2026, working in daycare and with cat sitting services.
On weekends, I’m usually with my 6-year-old daughter-often covered in glitter and stickers!
Brent
Meet Brent, a Kitsilano local who joined DogZen in September 2025, following a career in Youth & Young Adult education. He brings over 30 years of experience with dogs in the family, from his first Pekingese, Simba, to his recent Lab/Shepherd mix, Chewie. Having raised everything from energetic Boxers to loyal Labs, Brent’s deep breed knowledge makes him a natural with the pack. When he’s not bonded with our furry clients, you can usually find Brent staying active in the great outdoors. Whether he’s snowboarding in Whistler, biking the seawall, or playing tennis at Kits beach, he brings that same high energy and enthusiasm to every pack walk.
Josh
Meet Josh! Born and raised on the East Coast, Josh now happily calls the West Coast home. While he doesn’t currently have pets of his own, he’s always had a deep love for dogs and feels right at home spending his days with them. When he’s not out walking or adventuring with pups, you’ll likely find him playing guitar and working on music. Josh’s favourite dog breed? That’s an easy one—every dog he meets becomes his new favourite.
Audrey
Hi, I’m Audrey! I’ve been a professional dog walker for the past three years, and I truly can’t imagine doing anything else. I started this job because I wanted to have my dog with me every day and find new ways to explore and make memories together. Now I’ve successfully been able to do that with a bunch of additional little best friends ☺️ I’m planning to stay in the dog industry long-term, with future goals of moving into canine training and protection work. I care deeply about every dog I work with and treat them like my own.
In my spare time I enjoy listening to music and hanging with friends
Maddie!
Meet Maddie! She lives in North Vancouver with her two cats- Dasher and Oliver and has been part of the DogZen team since April 2025. When she’s not out hiking with the dogs, you can find her baking, painting, reading, or enjoying the outdoors. Maddie has had two dogs growing up, a yellow lab named Maisey and a current blue heeler mix named Hali.

“If it isn’t obvious already, I confess, we are animal lovers! Our animals are our life; that means all in our care! We share our passion for the outdoors with them and partake in adventures that include them! We give them love and respect and they bless us with their love and trust in return. There is something about the innocent sparkle in a dogs’ eye that has us forever hooked! Whether your dog joins our daily hikes while you are at work or if he comes for overnight care while you are on holidays, your dog will be loved and cared for as much as our own. I am continually learning all I can about dog behavior, care, nutrition, holistic nutrition, health etc… so rest assured that your dog is in the best hands possible!
