Marg (Owner)
Mom to 2 humans & 2 canines. Enjoys being outdoors almost as much as she loves dogs! When not working you’ll find her down by the river with her with dogs Easton & Monte, cuddling with dog-guests by the fire, or playing and coaching softball. Marg is excited to be the leader of the DogZen team and to be contributing to your dog’s quality of life and happiness!
Kaarina
“if you find a job you love then you never work a day in your life”. Although i absolutely love teaching fitness and yoga i felt there was something missing in my life. I started making a list of things I love. Two things anyone would know about me is that i love being outside and i absolutely adore pups and miss being able to have my own adventure buddy. So i thought how i could i combine these things i love? I spend my days hiking or running trails with these fur buddies then my evenings teaching my passion for fitness. Did i ust break the code for a fulfilled and happy life?
Emma
Emma is our part time walker and live in sitter. When you are away Emma is happy to move into your home and take care of all your fur babies and your home. Emma attends university and is studying kinesiology . Her passion is softball 🥎 when she’s not studying or with your pups you can find her on the ball field.
Carmen
Our amazing daycare person. Carmen works part time at DogZen daycare. Carmen is mom to Somia and loving wife to Ian. She’s also mom to a beautiful golden, Amber.
Bernie
My name is Bernie and I have a boxer and a mini schnauzer. I live in Upper Lonsdale. My favorite place to hike is in Mount Fromme Baden Powell trail. I have always loved dogs, and I don’t remember ever not having a dog when I was growing up. Being able to work with the Dogzen team, where I can be part of and share that experience, is something that I value and am grateful for. I am so looking forward to meeting and spending time with your puppy!
Selina
Meet Selina! She lives in Central Vancouver with her cat Prairie and spends most of her days looking for ways to be active or get outside- swimming, hiking, biking, hitting the gym, etc., even after a day of hiking with the dogs! She hikes dogs by day (Since April 2024) and moonlights as a floral designer on weekends for big events & weddings! Selina’s childhood dog was a Husky/Lab mix named Angel, but her favourite breed of dog is a Vizsla!
Wendy
Wendy grew up walking the North Shore trails and is excited to be in the mountains daily with all our energetic pups. She enjoys crafts, riding her bike, and playing with her goofy husband and toddler.
Grace
In order to find Grace in her happy place, you’ll have to look to the trails with your pups, where they are getting all the love and affection they could possibly dream of. As the sun goes down and Grace goes home, she cosies up on the couch with her cat and works on one of her many novels that one day, she’ll hopefully publish.
Ashley
Ashley loves to be on trail with all the pups. She loves to get the perfect photo of your dog while she’s hiking on our beautiful North Shore. In her spare time Ashley is either on the ball field or in the area. She loves playing softball but her passion is ringette. We are so happy to have Ashley a part of our DogZen family
